MMORPGs

Post by WanderingWlf on 15/10/2015, 6:20 am

Do people still play them? I used to be so into them but somehow lost interested drastically.

With that being said I do look forward to Tree of Savior and Blade and Soul still. So maybe I'll see you guys in them because the only reason I'll strive to play is if I know others are playing it.

I've been playing PSO2 recently, but that's about it for now. I'll try Tree of Savior when the next alpha or beta or whatever comes up.

I've been the same. Tree of Savior is okay, but a lot of the early bosses are really boring to fight. Prinny Squad ToS pois!!!1!!!!!!111! I played the Korean version of Maplestory 2, so i'm excited for the NA version.

I've said this before, I like PSO2 but I really dislike the lack of ease of access it has. I also dislike the aiming. I really wanted to be a gun main but the mouse control is not as responsive as it is in a traditional shooter.

I actually do want to play Maple Story 2 mainly since I was a veteran of the first. I also look forward to that.

You better man up Wlf because the PSO2 hype train is starting up. Just tab target and left click like me :^). MS2 is community based again. The game should be more social, which is what I personally wanted.

To be fair, things are like 100x your size so aiming is not really needed, there's also a lock-on which is the primary method of targeting with guns.

I absolutely know I'm being extra nit-picky about it but all games with some sort of target function for shooting I never use. I just really enjoy aiming. It's a very rewarding feeling. But yeah, PSO2 for me personally is just a bit more effort than I want to commit on right now. I know it's a fun game. I see my brother playing it all the time.

It just sounds like you want it to be a game that it's not.

Combat is mostly around dodging and aiming makes you slow.

I can totally admit I'm crying over something silly and subjective. I regularly judge games with guns and how comfortable aiming is. I know that's now that the game was going for so don't mind me. Otherwise I'd love to play PSO2 but like I said I just dislike the lack of easy access to things. I'd like to spend money on the game since it's a freemium sorta thing but it's not so simply done.

Ease of access I can understand being an issue. Thankfully all the freemium things can be traded so people sell them for in game money (usually a few daily quests worth of meseta though). There's also a service specifically for western players to buy the cash.

I think I'll try Dragons Dogma Online tomorrow night, assuming my computer can handle it.
I dunno what class or vocation or whatever I wanna pick though.
