As for my favorite game...I always have a hard time choosing this sorta stuff but I guess I have to say Disgaea 3. The game impacted me a bunch because they added a bunch of new stuff and ways to play the game. Also the delinquent life.

Yeah FOMT had a ton of things to do, i'd probably throw it up there right under 64 for me. Ellie best girl.

I figured it was a Disgaea game, but I didn't know which was your favorite. D3 was my first introduction to the series. It has a really good dub and the characters are hilarious. I honestly need to pick it up back up, so I can move on to D4, then eventually get D5 whenever it comes to states.

I actually played Harvest Moon: Friends of Mineral Town sooooo much too, even though I had to play as a guy but back then it was okay for me hahah.

But I think my favorite game of all time would have to be...

Golden Sun and Golden Sun: The Lost Age for GBA!

Hard to decide but I've had Tales of Destiny stuck in my head for a while, and I'm really sad that Namco has never localized the remake or the direct sequel...

@Miomeo Golden Sun is a great series. What did you think of Dark Dawn? A lot of people say it was watered down compared to the original.

@usesoda That would be amazing. I never played the earlier games, but after playing Symphonia I feel in love with the series. Tales games always have the best openings too.

I think I've mentioned it several times by now, but the Digital Devil Saga duology is definitely my favourite.

I guess I would have to default back on Sonic 3/S3&K. Sometimes if a game has good music, I would make it my favorite like Banjo-Kazooie/Tooie.

One could say TF2 was my favorite seeing as I somehow put in 1,589 hours according to Steam.

Now, I would say Starbound just because of the update and some of the future things they are adding.

I wanted to mention the Sonic games because I was a Sega Genesis kid when it was Genesis vs SNES, but I don't consider them a favorite and more of just a nostalgia thing. I had all of them and even beat 3D Blast, and Spinball wasn't that bad. Sonic 3 was cool with the whole connection thing to the Sonic and Knuckles cartridge and all the new shields and added character mechanics, but I think Sonic 2 just holds a lot more for me.

Edit for clarification: Sonic is definitely a favorite but topic was "all-time fave" so I just yeah...

@Fermion What about NOT SMT related!? I think most of us know how much you like that series.

@outsanity @usesoda I jumped into Sonic really late. Emulated 1-3 when I was like 19 or 20. I just never had the interest. Not that it's a bad game but I feel it's one of the harder older games for me to try out. I think you have to get all the Chaos Emeralds for a true ending or something like that? That kinda puts me off. One thing I'll give it is that it's definitely more challenging than Mario.

Besides Shin Megami Tensei and its several spin-off games though, my favourite game would have to be Dark Cloud.

I don't really... have an ABSOLUTE all time favourite game, because I like so many of them. Though there's only a few games that I can play over and over and never get tired of. Those games are Final Fantasy IX and Tales of Phantasia. Like I've played FFIX more times than I can count and I still love it, and it doesn't matter what version of Phantasia I'm playing (besides the SFC version and MAYBE GBA version), I love the heck out of it. I honestly do love more games than just those two, but they're definitely the ones that I'll never ever get tired of.

Super Metroid is old and shows age but it's still one of the most well-designed experiences in console gaming to this day.

For something more recent, I really can't stop playing Etrian Odyssey 4, it's so good.
